The Titanic victim from Catford | Titanic 100th anniversary:
"This month marks the 100th anniversary since the RMS Titanic sank in the Atlantic Ocean killing more than 1,500 people.

One of the victims who was on board was a 25 year-old bricklayer from Catford named Philip Joseph Stokes. He paid £10 10s for his second class ticket and boarded the ship in Southampton on 10 April 1912. His destination: Detroit, Michigan....."
